After completion of his LPC in July 2019, Jack joined Hanne & Co the following month and undertook his training contract at the firm. Jack is now a solicitor in our Property Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department.
Jack assists on a variety of matters within the field of Property Litigation and Dispute Resolution, acting for both companies and individuals.
Jack advises and assists on a range of Landlord and Tenant matters. This includes drafting tenancy agreements, advising on disputes between Landlords and Tenants and assisting Landlords and Tenants in bringing or defending possession proceedings.
Jack also advises on neighbour disputes, trust of land disputes under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996, contractual disputes between individuals and companies and debt recovery matters.
Outside of work, Jack likes to keep active and plays rugby and also enjoys travelling and reading.
Recent / Notable experience
Acting for 1 of 2 Defendants in a trust of lands dispute. The crux of the dispute relates to the division of the parties’ respective beneficial interests in the property.
Acting for private bank in relation to debt recovery matter, with proceedings due to be issued in the High Court
Possession matter regarding common law tenancy where arrears are in excess of £150,000.00 and enforcing against individuals now residing in another jurisdiction.
