Kate’s work covers a broad spectrum of general civil litigation matters with a particular specialism in property litigation. She has experience representing both commercial and residential landlords / tenants with work spanning from simple tenancy disputes to more complex matters, involving various aspects of property and general litigation.
Kate’s expertise includes advising on:

- Commercial and residential landlord / tenant matters;
- Neighbour disputes;
- Mortgage repossession;
- Debt recovery;
- Injunctive relief;
- Misrepresentation claims; and
- Contract disputes.
Kate read law at Oxford Brookes and then trained at a boutique firm in Temple, heading up the residential conveyancing department, before focusing on the more litigious aspects of property work.
Kate’s breadth of experience and attention to detail has enabled her to build a list of long-standing clients, including private banks and property management companies. She prides herself on being approachable and communicating her advice to clients in a way that is easily understood.
Outside of work, Kate enjoys attending art exhibitions, keeping active and travelling.
Recent / Notable experience
Acted for the defendant successfully in a four-day multi-track trial concerning the beneficial ownership of a residential property registered in the claimant’s sole name.
Acted successfully for the Claimant (being a bridging finance company) in obtaining possession of the defendant’s property and realising the security in full despite significant complexities relating to the nature of the charge and the indebtedness of the defendant.
Advised the defendants in an action against Chelsea Football Club in connection with ticket touting.
