Expertise
Michael is a Trainee Solicitor at Hanne & Co and is currently working in our Conveyancing Department.
He joined the firm from Wainwright & Cummins LLP, where he was a paralegal working in child care proceedings. Michael has experience working across a range of challenging cases, including supporting vulnerable clients and those with cognitive disabilities. Many of these involved difficult issues such as drug and alcohol misuse, neglect, domestic violence and sexual abuse.
Prior to his career in law, Michael worked in the charity sector for organisations such as the British Red Cross and NSPCC.
Michael was awarded a partial scholarship to study at the University of Law, where he completed the PGDL and achieved a Masters in Law. He also has a Masters in Social and Political Thought and an undergraduate degree in Sociology from the University of Leeds.
Outside of work Michael enjoys playing football, watching films, going to museums and is very slowly learning Spanish (Espanol).
