Trainee Solicitor – Property
Charlotte spent 17 years in Singapore – the garden city – where she became interested in urban planning, land use and flat living from a young age.
From 2016 to 2019, she read Law at the University of Exeter achieving one of the highest grades for land law in her cohort. She completed her LPC at the University of Law in 2021 with a Distinction.
Intrigued by talk of leasehold reform, Charlotte has carried out research and transcribed important interviews for the national leaseholders charity. Before joining us in June 2021, Charlotte also worked with International Citizens Service to volunteer in a remote Nepalese village for three months. She was entrusted with running community-wide workshops on sensitive issues such as child marriage.
Charlotte assists Tom Mythen (Partner) on a wide spectrum of conveyancing matters. Her forensic analytical skills and steely determination make her particularly well suited for pushing time-pressured and complex refinances across the line. She especially enjoys navigating the additional moving parts of larger corporate transactions, such as the sale of a business and assignment of a commercial lease.
A grade eight pianist, Charlotte plays the piano in her free time.
