Claire worked as a Registered General Nurse for many years before studying law at Surrey University. She joined Hanne & Co in 2004 initially as a trainee, accepting a position on qualification, and becoming Partner in August 2010. She is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. She specialises in Wills, Probate, Administration of Estates and Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection work, and also in contentious probate, where there are disputes over Wills and estates for various reasons. This can also involve disputes over Trusts for Land and registration of Powers of Attorney and Deputies.
Claire listens sympathetically to her clients’ individual circumstances and needs, with a view to ensuring her clients expectations are met, that they understand the processes involved, and achieving not only a fair resolution to disputes, but one that is practical and workable for them.
Claire enjoys spending time with her husband, children and grandson, and also walking her dogs and horse riding.

Claire acted for the executors in the administration of an estate, which included a large property portfolio of rental properties, royalties and foreign assets
Claire was appointed by the Court to act as an independent administrator of an estate, to safeguard the estate until such time as the long running dispute between the potential beneficiaries was settled.
