Expertise

Claire worked as a Registered General Nurse for many years before studying law at Surrey University. She joined Hanne & Co in 2004 initially as a trainee, accepting a position on qualification, and becoming Partner in August 2010. She is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. She specialises in Wills, Probate, Administration of Estates and Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection work, and also in contentious probate, where there are disputes over Wills and estates for various reasons. This can also involve disputes over Trusts for Land and registration of Powers of Attorney and Deputies.

Claire listens sympathetically to her clients’ individual circumstances and needs, with a view to ensuring her clients expectations are met, that they understand the processes involved, and achieving not only a fair resolution to disputes, but one that is practical and workable for them.
