Trainee Solicitor – Private Client

Expertise

Clara is a trainee currently in her third seat in our private client department.  Prior to her move to private client, Clara completed seats in our property department assisting Partner Steven Bannell on a range of residential property matters and in our family & divorce department.

Prior to joining Hanne & Co, Clara graduated from the University of Exeter where she read the LLB English Law and French Law/Master 1 (Maitrise en Droit). During university, Clara was Pro Bono Officer for the University of Exeter Law Society, providing Pro Bono legal support for matters related to housing and was a peer tutor for first year students.

Clara has also recently co-founded Feminist Law which includes a podcast which she co-hosts, and she has an active role on the platform. She has acquired vast amounts of work experience in firms ranging from family law to immigration and employment law. She is also fully bilingual in French and English as well as speaking Spanish to an advanced level.

Outside of work Clara enjoys running and exercising, playing the piano, cooking, reading and spending time with friends.
