Expertise
Clare is in her second seat as a trainee in our Family department assisting with all areas of family and divorce law. She has previously completed a seat in our private client department and prior to starting her training contract, Clare worked as a Paralegal in our Child Care Department for two years.
Following her undergraduate degree in Philosophy and English, Clare spent seven years working in education, both in the UK and abroad. In 2019, she decided to pursue a long-held ambition of a career in law. She completed the Graduate Diploma in Law and LLM in Legal Practice at BPP University.
During her legal studies, Clare regularly participated in various pro bono projects and was Student Director of the BPP Family Legal Advice Clinic. She also volunteered at a local law centre and was an active member of the Junior Lawyers Against Poverty society.
In her spare time, Clare is a keen reader and theatregoer, and enjoys travelling whenever possible.
