Expertise
Elle is a trainee at Hanne & Co and is now in her second seat assisting Associate Maisie Lockyer & Partner Liz Francis on all family law matters. Prior to this, Elle completed her first seat in our Child Care Law department.
Before joining Hanne & Co, Elle gained 2 years’ experience working in legal technology at Opus 2 International. Following this she decided she wanted to become a solicitor.
Elle started the LPC LLM at ULaw in Jan 2022 and graduated with a distinction in November 2022. She is particularly interested in Child Care law due to her family’s previous experience as a host family for foster children and has found this to provide a unique insight into clients situations.
Elle also has an interest in private family law and domestic abuse having focussed her dissertation on international human rights law and its failure to protect victims of domestic abuse.
During the LPC Elle volunteered at citizens advice and a domestic violence charity helping victims apply for non-molestation orders.
Outside of work, Elle enjoys reading, going to the cinema and baking.
