Hazel is a Senior Associate Solicitor in the Family & Divorce Law Department. She deals with all aspects of family law including divorce, matrimonial finances, separation, injunctions, declarations of parentage and special guardianship orders and has significant experience in complex Children Act proceedings. She is a Resolution Accredited Specialist in both Children Law (Private) and Domestic Abuse cases and a Legal 500 Recommended Lawyer (2023).
Hazel is committed to, and passionate about, family law – in particular in relation to the welfare of children. She is regularly instructed to assist clients on private law children matters that involve complex issues such as parental alienation, intractable contact disputes or domestic abuse and she regularly applies for and responds to applications for Child Arrangement, Prohibited Steps and Specific Issue Orders. Hazel often undertakes her own advocacy on her children cases to assist clients throughout the progress of their case and provide consistency during what can be very difficult times. She applies her knowledge and experience with empathy – always striving to achieve the very best for her clients.
Hazel regularly assists clients with divorce and financial remedies and has a personal and compassionate approach when advising on issues arising from a family breakdown. She is rigorous in resolving issues as quickly and as cost-effectively as possible whilst ensuring a bespoke service is provided to her clients.
Hazel studied politics at the University of Nottingham before completing the law conversion at BPP Law School. She qualified as a solicitor at Coram Children’s Legal Centre in 2017 where she represented vulnerable children and families. She joined Hanne & Co’s Family and Divorce Law Department in 2021.
Outside of work, Hazel enjoys cooking, travelling and running, having recently completed the London Marathon.

Non-molestation application- Wife seeking injunction against Husband following consistent physical, sexual and verbal abuse. Non-molestation order secured for client and client is now safe.
Divorce and Finances- assisting several clients with their divorce and their financial relief applications/ financial matters.
Children- assisting several clients with their children application to either oppose applications made by the other party or trying to establish contact between the parent and the child/children.
