Trainee Solicitor – Private Client

Expertise

Marnie is currently in her second seat in our Private Client department assisting the team.  Prior to her move to private client Marnie assisted Associate Buncy Vaghela in our residential conveyancing team.

Marnie graduated from the University of Plymouth in 2020 with a first-class honours degree in Policing and Criminal Justice Studies, before going on to complete a Masters of Law degree with the University of Law in 2021.

Following completion of her studies at University, Marnie worked as a paralegal on a major public inquiry. Prior to joining Hanne & Co, she spent time working as a Trainee Solicitor specialising in Employment Law, advising clients on various employment law issues, and successfully negotiating a variety of settlement agreements.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Marnie is committed to community service. She volunteered as an Appropriate Adult during her time at University, providing invaluable support to individuals in need. Marnie’s passion for making a positive contribution also led her to assist with voluntary passive drugs dogs training with Devon and Cornwall Police.

Marnie is currently undertaking the SQE Solicitor Graduate Apprenticeship route to qualification alongside working.

Outside of work, Marnie enjoys training and competing in CrossFit, reading and baking.
