Rukhma is an Associate in the Family & Divorce Department. She specialises in all aspects of family law including divorce, finances, children, separation and cohabitation disputes. She also has extensive experience in complex and high net worth financial matters with an international element including offshore property, businesses and trusts.
Rukhma has been recognised as a Key Lawyer in The Legal 500 (2020) and as a Recommended Lawyer in The Legal 500 (2023). She is passionate, tenacious and always fights to achieve the best results for her clients. Legal 500 describes her as “exemplary”.
Rukhma studied Law at the University of Essex and later went on to undertake her LPC at BPP Law School where she obtained a distinction. Rukhma completed her training contract in a West London Legal 500 firm and qualified as a solicitor in 2019. During her time at this firm she assisted the team on several high-net worth and reported cases.
Outside of work, Rukhma is an avid traveller, having recently spent time in South East Asia and Australia. She also regularly enjoys running and boxing.
Acted on behalf of a spouse in complex financial remedy proceedings involving a section 37 application. Freezing injunctions were successfully obtained against the other spouse in Russia and the UK.
