The brilliant winners of the quiz were 9 Gough Square (Team name: Agatha Quizty) who won 6 bottles of Prosecco! There were numerous prizes to be won in the raffle such as Eurostar tickets, a tour of the House of Lords and afternoon tea with Baroness Corston, spa vouchers, original artwork and much more. This year, we also held an auction for a beautiful Getty image of Marilyn Monroe, 4 VIP tickets to see the Prodigy along with signed merchandise and a Chelsea football signed by the entire first team. An incredible £3065.00 was raised in total and the Charity Committee would like to sincerely thank everyone for their generosity.
Kate from Jo’s Trust explained that it is the most common cancer in women aged 35 and under and that the vision of the charity is to see cervical cancer be a thing of the past. The funds raised from the quiz will allow Jo’s Trust to continue the valuable work they do in conducting and commission research, providing information and raising awareness about cervical cancer.
Thank you to all those who attended and made the night a massive success!
