The night began with a good old-fashioned pub quiz, expertly hosted by conveyancing solicitor Steve Bannell. 1GC Family Law were the big winners on the night, not only winning overall but also taking home the coveted best team name award, “Merry Quizmas every1GC”.
Over the course of the night our charity committee were busy selling raffle tickets for the fantastic array of prizes they had gathered over the previous months. These ranged from Eurostar tickets to Spa days. It’s fair to say a good proportion of the guests left with something.
The night concluded with everyone’s favourite part of the night- the auction. As a flurry of bids drew the night to a close, the charity committee could reflect on what was a very merry quizmas for all. The night raised over £2,800 for our charity of the year, the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM). Thanks to everyone who donated prizes and who came along in support of a great cause.
