As a firm with a continued and dedicated commitment to charitable causes, Hanne & Co is following up on the roaring success of February’s sponsored walk with yet another walk.
On 16th May 2011, there will be an estimated 220 teams setting off for the 10km walk from the Royal Courts of Justice in a round trip ending at the Law Society to raise funds for London Legal Support Trust. Walkers include prominent members of the legal profession, including:
Lord Judge- The Lord Chief Justice
Lord Neuberger- The Master of the Rolls
Linda Lee- The President of the Law Society
Peter Lodder QC- The Chairman of the Bar Council
David McGrady- The President of ILEX
Keir Starmer QC- The Director of Public Prosecutions
Alastair Pitblado- The Official Solicitor
Dominic Grieve QC MP- The Attorney General
Edward Garnier QC MP- The Solicitor General
Jonathan Djanogly MP- Justice Minister
Hanne & Co’s team of 19 walkers are from across the firm’s departments. Having completed the 20 mile walk in February 2011, some quicker than others, this one should be a walk in the park for the solicitors at Hanne & Co.
Lorna Cservenka and Caroline Little from the Hanne & Co Child Care department are walking once again having completed 40 miles over both days of the February sponsored walk.
