Social Impact

At Hanne & Co, we like to employ people who care, not just about their work but also about the wider world.

Our Charity of the Year 2024 – 2025

Hanne & Co’s charity of the year for 2024-2025 is Mind, Brent, Wandsworth and Westminster, one of London’s leading, community based, mental health charities. They work within our communities, providing support, advice and information to empower anyone who may be experiencing a mental health problem.

Making a difference

We’re always impressed by the breadth of interests that our colleagues pursue in their own time, but especially when working to better the lives of others. It’s not in the job description but it’s no coincidence that we have a lot of very caring people here at Hanne & Co.

While many of our colleagues pursue charitable goals of their own, our main firm wide offering is an active Charity Committee who organise events and raise funds for our firm’s charity of the year.

In the past we have supported many charities throughout the country raising tens of thousands of pounds through events organised by our superb committee. The charity of the year is chosen by our staff, though a process of nominations and then a firm wide vote. The Charity Committee is made up of staff members, who work during office hours and often in their own time to support the nominated charity.

Hanne & Co’s charity of the year for 2024-2024 is Mind, Brent, Wandsworth and Westminster, one of London’s leading, community based, mental health charities.

The Charity Committee is very excited to work with Mind BWW.  Please click on the link if you would like to know more about our charity of the year.

From the Rights of Women advice line to the Central Family Court duty solicitor scheme, solicitors with Hanne & Co offer their free time and some firm time to assist people who need help and cannot access it through any other means.

They also raise awareness by giving free presentations to Wandsworth Mencap and Generate to highlight the importance of wills and discretionary trusts to parents with disabled children.

One of our consultants was recently appointed to be a lifetime honorary vice president of the Association of Lawyers for Children’s Executive Committee (ALC).

It’s in the way we are made – our lawyers care…

Hanne & Co is proud to have supported the National Free Wills Network campaign for many years.

The National Free Wills Network comprises charities ranging from household names to those with a strong regional or local focus. The purpose of the Network is to offer free Will writing services to the charities’ known supporters.

The team also offer free Wills to patients and staff at Trinity Hospice
